Why we built BillerAPI

Mike Whalen is neurodiverse and has neurodiverse kids. He wanted an app for neurodiverse people and their caregivers to easily see bills and pay them in one place—but the infrastructure didn't exist. No APIs to link billers, no way to aggregate bills across providers, no single place to see and pay everything.

So he built it.

BillerAPI is that infrastructure. It gives products—bill pay apps, budgeting tools, caregiver dashboards—one API surface for biller discovery, linking, retrieval, and gated payment workflows. So the app he first imagined, and the ones you're building, can give users one place for every bill.
